Here’s what I know to be true.

When you spend with a mum-owned business, that money doesn’t disappear into a corporation. It pays for school shoes. It keeps a family fed. It gives a woman the opportunity to build something of her own and creates financial safety for herself in her own bank account.

There’s so much stigma around money being “the root of all evil” but in the hands of the right people (WOMEN):

Money circulates. It nourishes. It matters.

Intentional spending isn’t just a nice idea. It’s one of the most powerful things we can do to create the world we really want to live. A world where women are SAFE, LOVED and VALUED.

So I took it upon myself to build a space to make that easier.

Why this, why now?

As a single mum building a business on my own, I know what it feels like to be invisible. To be working hard and feel like no one really sees it or understands it.

I’ve poured so much time and money into learning social media techniques, building a few different businesses on the side. All of them were fun but STRESSFUL and I found once I made some progress I shut down and gave up. I really needed the encouragement to keep going.

I’ve found that learning little bits from lots of people can change everything. That being in a supportive space, even something as simple as co-working alongside others can shift your momentum completely.

Community isn’t a luxury. It’s a lifeline.

I created Sage & Cedar to be the kind of space I was craving: one where mums in business feel genuinely supported, connected, and celebrated, and where customers feel excited, inspired, and thrilled by the value they find.

I’m really proud to be championing mums in business, and I am absolutely certain the products and services are of excellent quality. How could they not be? Mums are already so busy, we aren’t selling anything unless we know it’s awesome!
